Daybook

Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

By using Daybook you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Your content

What you write in Daybook belongs to you. If you sign in, you let us store it only to sync it between your devices.

The service

Reading, search and export are free. Writing needs Daybook Plus, an auto-renewing subscription (yearly or monthly, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers) bought through Apple; one subscription covers iPhone and Mac. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Daybook is provided as is. We work to keep sync reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, so keep anything critical somewhere safe too. We may change or discontinue features; if sync is ever discontinued we'll give notice so you can keep your journal on your device.

Optional AI providers

If you connect your own Anthropic or OpenAI-compatible account, your use of that service is governed by its terms, and any costs are between you and that provider.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Daybook.

Trademarks

Bullet Journal® is a registered trademark of its owner. Daybook is an independent app inspired by the method and is not affiliated with or endorsed by its creator.
